口语练习：有关介词的正确使用

介词’in’、’on’、’by’是常与交通工具搭配的介词词语，但是你会正确使用吗?

当提到与走路或站立有关的行为方式时，我们常使用介词’on’。

如：I like to read when I am on the tram.

(我喜欢在电车上看书。)

I am on the ferry and I will be home soon.

(我现在在轮渡上，很快到家。)

Amy was on the bus when I called her.

(我给艾米打电话的时候，她正在公交车上。)

我们也常在提到"骑在……上"时用介词’on’，比如骑自行车(a bike)、骑摩托车(a scooter)、骑马(a horse)等。

I was already on my bike when I realised I had forgotten my keys!

 (当我发现忘带钥匙时，我已经开始骑自行车了。)

Climb on the back of my motorbike. 

(爬上我摩托车的后座。)

当我们不能站在或者骑在什么东西上，而必须坐在其中时，我们就使用介词’in’。’in’常被用于小汽车(cars)、出租车(taxis)和小船(small boats)等。

如： I am still in the car.

(我还在车里。)

The sea is so rough. I am in my boat and I don’t feel safe.

(这海浪真汹涌。我坐在船里，还是感觉不安全。)

这些规则还适用于当你谈到上车/下车(get on/off)或者进/出(in/out of)某物。

如：I have to get off the bus now.

 (我现在要下公交了。)

I am going to get on my bike and head home.

(我准备骑自行车回家了。)

She had to get out of the boat and swim to shore. 

(她必须要下船游回岸边。)

介词’by’常被用在如何到达某地。

如：I travelled to the mall by car.

(我开车去购物中心。)

I go to the city by train.

(我坐火车去市中心。)

例外情形是，如果你是走路，那么还是要用’on foot’

She travelled the entire way on foot.

(她全程走路。)
